Entourage in rose gold
From our workshop: Fine Sapphire & Diamond Ring in Rose Gold
This ring from our workshop is a classic entourage ring. Its ring shape (from the French "entourage": company, entourage), in which a larger center stone is surrounded by diamonds, was first in vogue around 1900 - and since then it has become indispensable in the world of jewelry. A dark blue sapphire from Australia forms the centrepiece of this example in high-carat rose gold. Sixteen brilliant-cut diamonds of very good quality and radiant white line the sapphire and surround it with festive sparkle. A total of 0.36 carats of diamonds have come together to form an entourage that supports the effect of the precious centre stone in the best possible way. We have designed the ring with the eyes of the antique jeweller in mind, ensuring the highest possible wearing comfort and the best possible features. Due to its flat design and the gemstone settings without disturbing claws or points, the ring can be worn daily without any problems. The ring shoulders are decorated on the sides with delicate ornaments based on models from the period around 1900, and all parts are designed to be as fine and delicate as possible in order to draw the eye entirely to the fire of the gemstones. Last but not least, the ring also has a romantic dimension: the combination of sapphire and diamonds can be read symbolically in this ring and the stones are chosen to express a promise. Thus, in the language of gemstones, the blue sapphire symbolizes fidelity and the diamonds, as the hardest stones on earth, have been symbols of eternity since classical antiquity. Exquisite materials, the fine quality of the setting and its beautiful craftsmanship make it a perfect engagement ring. An oath of fidelity in precious stones, just waiting to seal the right answer to that all-important question.
