Timeless Classic

Classic Gold Ring With Modern Diamond, Great Britain Circa 1900/2000

This antique diamond ring in gold is striking and clear in its design. The simple, solid ring band of high-carat yellow gold widens towards the top and divides into individual strings that form an effective setting: At their centre, they present a sparkling brilliant cut diamond as a solitaire. The modern brilliant cut of the stone shows that it was set into the antique ring not too long ago, presumably to replace a lost stone. The pure white diamond weighs about 0.32 carats and has very good colour with only one small pinpoint inclusion that does not dull its brilliance. The pretty antique setting shows off its impressive white fire to its best advantage. The ring is beautifully preserved. We discovered this piece of jewellery, which can be worn by both men and women, in London.
