The shine of gold
Splendid bracelet made of high karat gold in 3 colors, Italy circa 1955
What a sight to behold! This wide bracelet shimmers in the seductive rich color of high karat gold in three alloy colors. Since time immemorial, the unmistakable luster of gold has captivated people. The precious metal in the color of the sun was in all cultures and through all centuries coveted symbol of power and wealth. Our bracelet, created in the years around 1955, shows particularly well the beauty of that material that will never go out of fashion. In the years after the Second World War, when the economic miracle brought new prosperity to many people, bracelets made of heavy gold like this one were a particularly popular status symbol and have remained so undiminished to this day. This first-class bracelet stands in this tradition and inspires with its high-quality design: made of solid 18-karat gold, the bracelet consists of links that are flexibly connected to each other and that fit comfortably and softly around the wrist. Its design features a decorative diamond pattern of yellow, white and red gold. Like a magnificent carpet, the surface appears to show engraved ornaments and silky matte engravings. A large clasp, still fully committed to the international style of "retro jewelry". A safety chain additionally secures the wide band. The alternation of shapes and surfaces is particularly elegant, creating a rich play of shadows and beautiful refractions of light. According to the stamping, the bracelet was created in the manufactory of Gino Bottazzo in Vicenza and is solid and beautifully executed, fits snugly on the arm and leaves a splendid impression: a first-class piece in the best condition and a real investment for future generations!
