Vintage Gold & Smoky Quartz Cufflinks, 1970s
In this day and age, cufflinks are one of the few remaining pieces of jewellery for men. They can be used to make a small fashion statement on the sleeves - and in general, a dignified pair of cufflinks is so much more stylish than plain plastic shirt buttons. This pair of cufflinks from the 1970s offers a particularly stylish look. The buttons each present a cushion-shaped smoky quartz in a rectangular bufftop cut at their center: The two smoky quartz are curved cut at the top and faceted at the bottom. Set in yellow gold, the incident light is reflected back to great effect. Bars with hinged toggles make the pair easy to put on. The high-quality pair convinces with its tasteful design and forms a beautiful eye-catcher on the shirt. It was probably made in Germany and found its way to us on the Lower Rhine.
