Firmly anchored

Vintage gold necklace in ship anchor pattern, Germany around 1990

Some jewelry designs are so timeless that they have been produced almost unchanged for many generations. These include in a special way the classic chain designs, which exist in different sizes as necklaces and bracelets. Whether armored, Venetian or anchor chains, their basic shapes have been known since time immemorial. Only the way they are processed has changed over the years. The present chain made of 14-karat, slightly reddish gold found its way to us from Bavaria. The chain shines in a warm glow and shows the classic ship's anchor pattern, a chain type also known as a bean chain. Here, a simple eyelet is always followed by an oval, flat element with two holes. The chain can be worn alone, or you can provide it with a large pendant. It is a piece of jewelry that can be worn by both men and women.
