Echoes of Louis XVI forms and motifs from antiquity enlivened a delicate neoclassicism that valued small laurel tendrils as much as festoons, bows and tiny millegrain ornaments. All of these elements can also be found in our piece of jewelry. The large pendant is made of lightly gold-plated silver and holds the oval-cut aquamarine in a wreath of small laurel leaves set with seed pearls. A large white pearl is movably attached and two beautiful old-cut diamonds - one of which is in the center of a magnificent bow - complete this detailed and masterfully crafted piece. We had the aquamarine, the diamonds and the suspended pearl renewed, as the pendant was obviously always much loved - and therefore required a short stay in our workshop. Now it shines again as it once did. Thanks to a small hallmark, the piece of jewelry can be traced back to Hermann Lehmann's manufactory in Offenbach am Main. The pendant came to us from Munich.
