This platinum ring from our workshop features a precious sapphire as its centerpiece. The oval-faceted stone, weighing approximately 1.167 ct, sparkles in a mysterious midnight blue: Its interior appears completely transparent and so luminous that light reflections glow deep within the stone when the ring is moved in sunlight. It is a high-quality, untreated sapphire. This means it has not been heated or otherwise treated to enhance its colour or clarity. The sapphire is framed by eleven brilliant-cut diamonds, while two additional diamonds on the right and left elegantly extend toward the ring band. The design is inspired by classic Belle Époque entourage rings, intended to showcase particularly beautiful colored gemstones. We repurposed the sapphire from an old turn-of-the-century ring that could no longer be restored. It is a stone that was cut over a century ago. The diamonds in the ring are vintage stones that we have deliberately reused here to make the piece as sustainable as possible. The platinum used also comes from older pieces of jewellery, so the ring is produced entirely sustainably. An independent appraisal has confirmed the quality of the materials.
