When we go shopping in the Danube metropolis, we come across a typically Viennese type of jewelry from the post-war period time and again: Pieces of jewellery with precious stones often cut into large flowers, accompanied by jade leaves. Often they are small bouquets of violets, sometimes cyclamen - and we have also been able to "harvest" various types of fruit made from gemstones. This brooch from around 1960 presents us with a magnificent bouquet, called "Buschkawettl" in Viennese. Eleven pink tourmalines form the flowers of this beautiful bouquet. A small emerald in intense green shines in the center of each one. Two leaves made of green nephrite jade complete the small bouquet. The stems are made of white gold. Ten small octagonal diamonds provide additional glittering white accents. The naturalistic design with the movably attached flowers has a playful, light touch - also due to the delicate color tone, which conjures up a cheerful accent on any outfit. We were able to acquire this beautiful brooch in Vienna and, according to the hallmark, it was made in the Austrian capital. It is in very good condition.
